Who is Bill T. GameCow?
Bill T. GameCow was born on a farm in outback Australia. His mother was working in the dairy industry and his father was CEO of a fertility company. Some say that on the night he was born the area had the worst thunder storm in 100 years. To seek shelter from the elements his mother sought shelter in a disused factory. What his mother didn’t realise was that the factory used to manufacture video game consoles.
Bill was determined to enter the world that night and he was born shortly after midnight. The storm was at its height, with loud thunder and lightning strikes all round. By chance, or by fate, lightning struck to top of the factory. This lightning caused electricity to flow through the factory. When Bill was born his mother noticed strange birthmarks on his rear. They were strange looking circles, but she knew that this made him very special.
As Bill grew up he wasn’t like other cows, he loved playing console games. When the farmer went out for the day, Bill would walk into the farm house and play the children’s video game. He wasn’t always successful, as you could imagine some games are very hard to play with no fingers, but somehow he was able.
Years went by and Bill grew up and started his own family. As his children were growing up he decided he wanted to introduce them to console games. Consoles such as : Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, Playstation 3 and XBox 360 were released. Living in the outback meant it was very hard to travel to the local electronics store or games retailer so he turned his attention to shopping on-line.
As Bill searched the internet he began to notice a trend with nearly all console games websites, they were all targeting the “hard-core” gamer but seemed to have forgotten about the family. He asked himself, “Do parents/grand-parents really know what a first person shooter is?”. The answer was obviously NO. After all it is the mums, dads and grandparents that are buying most of the games for their children/grand-children and they need an easier and safe way to shop. He also wanted to bring the family games night back where the family gets together one night a week and plays games with or against each other.
Bill was determined to make his dream come true. He believed that there should be a website which this target market (parents and grand-parents) can shop for console games, have easy to use categories such as :boys , girls, families and designed with the family in mind. This is how Bill created GAMECOW.COM.AU.
